New series of Skill Share Workshops for artists
From responding to racist narratives to building a TikTok presence, four artists will share skills and experiences with peers worldwide in a series of online workshops taking place between September and December.
artlink believes in the transformative power of sharing skills and experiences with each other. Artists grow through access to networks and, above all, through exchange and cooperation with peers.
For the second time, artlink organizes a series of Skill Share Workshops in autumn 2026 to provide space for artists to learn from and with each other. In each workshop, one artist from the artlink community will lead a hands-on online session about a practice or a technique they have mastered, or an experience that influenced how they moved forward.
A BROAD RANGE OF TOPICS
Four artists with diverse cultural and artistic experiences have developed inspiring and participatory sessions, covering a wide range of topics. They were selected in the frame of an open call for workshop proposals, distributed among the artlink community.
- Aviv Szabs: ‘Anti-Racist Narratives in the Cultural Sector’. Aviv is an interdisciplinary artist based in Switzerland and born in Israel. She is currently exploring the experiences of motherhood influenced by immigration, through performance, text and photography.
- Varoon P Arnand: ‘Common Ground across borders: transcultural artistic collaboration‘. Varoon, based in India, is an award-winning theatre director, cultural manager and multilingual facilitator whose work bridges performance, intercultural collaboration, and applied theatre.
- Neyen Pailamilla: ‘From Studio to Screen: Activating Artistic Practice on TikTok’. Neyen is a queer Mapuche artist born in Chile and living in Switzerland. Their practice explores the interrelations between the body, territory, and living systems through performance, textile practices, and transdisciplinary research.
- Amanda Tovalin: ‘Digital Presence for Artists: Building a Clear and Coherent Online Identity’. Amanda is a Mexican singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and producer, who has managed to forge a unique path in the Latin American music scene.
