An interactive poetry performance and sharing moments “Katharsis”, which is a journey between femineity, fear and pain in intersection with exile. She presented a brief demo of her work on stage during her residency in Prozess, Switzerland:
Quick Facts:
In that HOPEFUL moment of Recovering from a trauma, there is a chance of facing another one. But No Panic! This time, we are almost aware of the rules. As Mariame Kaba wisely states, “Hope is a discipline.” We take a moment to SLOW down and persevere as best as we can—even if it is simply flipping through the pages of a book instead of reading it or even lighting on a candle. We touch it gently, much like we embrace and nurture our feelings and ourselves.
In a world where rockets are popping up into the sky instead of flowers blooming from the ground, our journey is not solely about release; it's about the continuity of human desires, striving for utopia, often at the cost of the treasures of everyday life. So, let’s take the privilege of celebrating the gift of the present moment and BREATH.
