I'm currently working on a new collage film called "Petrificados" (Petrified), created from old photographs of southern Brazil. I'm also screening my first feature "Lista de desejos para Superagüi" at festivals.

Pedro Giongo, is a visual artist and film director, with a main focus on stop-motion animation and documentary. His works are centered on thinking through collectibles and on the world ordered by the logic of collage and montage, and has in the artist's book one of the bases of his creative process. He seeks to translate these thoughts strategies into sound/visual narratives. In addition to his personal work, he also works as a film editor, having already worked in several prominent productions. Is one the founders of Tijucas Studio, an independent company created in 2009 that produces his autoral works. His personal projects and collaborations have already been shown at the 72nd Locarno Film Festival (Switzerland), 70th Berlinale (Germany), 38th Havana Latin Film Festival (Cuba), 26th Animafest Zagreb (Croatia) among others. Currently lives and works between Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba, Brazil.
