A conceptual artist, curator, writer and filmmaker, based in Basel Switzerland.
Works with Performance / Live Art interventions, installations, video works and prints. Focus areas are politics of identities, economies, food politics, (neo)colonialism and an exploration of the status quo.
Engages with Food and Cooking for gatherings, as part of his community and interactive practice.
Studied Medicine and worked in Psychiatry in India, before moving to filmmaking in mid 90s and then to Arts - first through Video art and then evolved to Performance, Installations etc.
Art works and videos have been shown across many countries at International festivals and exhibitions.
Curated an Indo-Swiss show 'Of Barriers and Distances' at a Gallery in India and two art spaces in Switzerland.
Curated Srinagar Biennale Basel 2018 with Janine Schumtz as co-curator.
