I'm an Iranian poet based in Switzerland, a multi-award-winning author of 19 published books, with a PhD in Persian Language and Literature and a BA in French Translation.

My poems, over the last three decades, cover topics including women, politics, society, the pain of life under authoritarian and totalitarian systems, and love in its different forms. Most of my works are in the classical form of ghazal, but I bring modern and new ideas into it.
I started writing poetry as a teenager, and for me, poetry has always been a safe refuge where I can cleanse and renew myself.
