Quick Facts:

Luciana Luthi is a Brazilian interdisciplinary artist based in Winterthur, Switzerland. Her practice brings together movement, voice, live electronic sound composition, and minimalist circus. Working with field recordings, analog synthesizers, and real-time processing, she investigates liminality, hauntology, and the female body — exploring spectral presences, memory, and altered states of perception through embodied and sonic research.

Her work has been presented in Brazil, Switzerland, Austria, France, Canada, and India. Recent works include Liminal (Tanzlobby Tryout, Zürich, 2026), Corpos de Lu(S) (Brasília, 2024–ongoing) and Movimento Invisível (2025), a piece for blind and visually impaired audiences. She released the EP Camadas (Label Bruta, 2024) under the name Luu Li, and is currently developing her first album.

She received a stipendium from the Feminist Circus Initiative (Germany, 2025–2026) and was selected for the Peer-to-Peer Program "Here I Am" by artlink. In 2013, she was part of Uma Trilha para Sua História, awarded Best Movement Production by the São Paulo Association of Art Critics (APCA).
