Hey there! I'm currently knee-deep in my photography project at the shared photo studio of the Centre Culturel Saint-Cyprien in Toulouse, and I’m beyond excited about it, especially with the support of the Action Culture du Crous de Toulouse grant.
For this project, I’m diving into analogue and alternative techniques to capture portraits of international students. The goal is to showcase a rich variety of perspectives, and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together. The exhibition will take place in March at Mac-Capsule culturelle.
Mark your calendars because my solo exhibition, 'BIS,' will be held in the south of France. It’s a fantastic showcase of the international student community, and I’m thrilled to share it with you all. This photography installation will run from March to April 2025. Stay tuned for more updates!
In October 2024, I was a laureate of 'Des espaces autres #4,' where I exhibited a photography project at La Fabrique in Toulouse, France. This was a collaboration with a psychologist specializing in intercultural psychology.
I was also invited to present the prototype of my photo book 'Renewing the link between the university and the Mirail district’ at Centre d'Art et de Photographie de Lectoure, France, in October 2024. Additionally, I exhibited this project at the art gallery of La Villa Abd-el-Tif in Algiers, Algeria, as part of the women Algerian photographer collective, Tilawin Project, after completing the 2024 arts residency of the project Tilawin Now at Villa Abd-el-Tif in Algiers.
I also participate as an art facilitator in the art residency 'Making a photographic object,' with Tilawin Now, Collectif. Excited to see where this journey takes me!
