Workshop #1: 'Responding to Racist Narratives in the Cultural Field' by Aviv Szabs

How do invisible norms, stereotypes, microaggressions, and processes of othering shape our everyday interactions? And how can we respond to them in ways that are constructive, empowering, and transformative?

Drawing from personal experiences and insights gained through anti-racism work, this workshop explores how dominant racist narratives operate in both personal and professional contexts. Through discussion, reflection, and practical exercises, participants will learn to identify subtle forms of discrimination, understand their impact, and develop tools to respond with confidence and awareness.

Workshop #2: 'Common Ground Across Borders' by Varoon P. Arnand

Have you been invited to collaborate with artists from another country, discipline, or institution? Do you have the best intentions to make the collaboration succeed - but are not sure how?

This workshop draws on applied improvisation to equip artists with practical tools for building meaningful collaboration across cultural differences, organizational boundaries, language barriers, and diverse creative practices. Through a series of structured, participatory exercises, participants develop skills for listening, co-creating, and navigating differences with confidence.

Workshop #3: ‘From Studio to Screen: Activating Artistic Practice on TikTok’ by Neyen Pailamilla

How can artistic practice be translated into short-form video? What happens when creative processes, research, and everyday studio work become material for digital circulation?

This workshop approaches TikTok as a space for circulation and experimentation within artistic practice, through a hands-on format. Designed for artists across disciplines, the session functions as a short laboratory in which participants will produce a first video using their own working environment and process as material.

Workshop #4: 'Digital Presence for Artists: Building a Clear and Coherent Online Identity' by Amanda Tovalin

Do you find it difficult to communicate who you are and what you do online? How much visibility do artists really need, and how can social media support an artistic career without becoming overwhelming?

This workshop explores how artists can develop an authentic and consistent digital presence that reflects their practice and values. Together, we will look at strategies for defining your artistic identity, communicating your work clearly, and using digital platforms more intentionally. By the end of the session, participants will have a clearer understanding of their artistic profile, practical tools for strengthening their online presence, and strategies for increasing the visibility of their work.
