Workshop #13 St. Gallen

07.03.2026: Workshop 'Funding landscape in Switzerland, with a particular focus on Eastern Switzerland' in St. Gallen

→ REGISTRATION CLOSED

Join us for an in-person workshop on 'The funding landscape in Switzerland, with a particular focus on Eastern Switzerland.'

The workshop is aimed at cultural practitioners with migration experience who have little or no experience in applying for funding or project grants. It is organised in cooperation with the Kulturbüro St. Gallen.

During the workshop, the following questions will be addressed:

  • What does the principle of subsidiarity mean?
  • What funding opportunities are available through foundations and public bodies?
  • What are the components of a complete funding application?
  • What should be considered when preparing the cover letter, project documentation, and budgeting/financing in order to submit a strong application?

We will look at the individual elements in detail and devote sufficient time to the exciting but complex topic of budgeting – income and expenses, presentation of costs, and the 'three-part structure' of the income side. If there is interest, we will also explore the possibilities of using ChatGPT in the application process.
