Meeting Point #21 Schaffhausen

In September we are travelling to Schaffhausen to visit Olaf Breuning's exhibition 'Humans' at the Museum zu Allerheiligen.

Olaf Breuning (*1970, Schaffhausen) is one of the most internationally successful Swiss artists of his generation. Breuning’s works playfully alternate between drawing, photography, video, sculpture, and installation.

The focus of the exhibition is how we interact with the world – including the exploitation of resources and the environmental crisis. Breuning unsparingly exposes human weaknesses without ever losing his love for the absurd and the comical. His works invite us to reflect on our behavior – and to draw our own conclusions, navigating the tension between disillusionment and hope.
